Theriomorphy

Theriomorphy is the quality of resembling or being shaped like an animal or animal-like mythical creature. In the study of gods and spirits, theriomorphic spirits are those that have animalistic appearances. There are different degrees of theriomorphy: some spirits appear as fully theriomorphic, resembling an animal entirely, while others are only partly theriomorphic.
