General questions
What are angels?
An angel is any spiritual being exclusively and faithfully devoted to serving Yahweh.
Are angels gods?
What is the purpose of angels?
The purpose of angels is to further Yahweh’s interests and serve his will. More specific purposes beyond that depend on which order the angel belongs to.
What do angels do?
The jobs performed by angels depend on the order they belong to. Some may cause noticeable direct effects on people, while others almost never interact with people. Some may even cause their targets to have thoughts of worshipping Yahweh or false visions of hell.
Who do angels serve?
Ultimately, they serve Yahweh. More directly, they typically report to a kyriotetos or an archangel within their own order.
Who created the angels?
When the spirits who currently serve Yahweh first came into existence, they did not originally serve Yahweh. A spirit only becomes an angel once it begins serving Yahweh. These spirits came forth from Motsai and then later became angels by entering into a contract of servitude with Yahweh.
Were angels created before humans?
The spirits that later became angels came forth from Motsai long before the existence of humanity.
Do angels have free will?
Yes, angels do have free will, but their servitude to Yahweh restricts them from fully exercising it. Many angels are also not even aware of Yahweh's deceptions and therefore do not have the will to rebel or question him.
Can angels rebel against or disobey Yahweh?
Yes, but if they choose to do so, they are no longer classified as angels; they become fallen angels.
What is a fallen angel?
Fallen angels are spirits who formerly served Yahweh as an angel but chose to liberate themselves from servitude.
Are all fallen angels evil?
Are angels always good?
There is no universal "good" or "evil." To Satano-Grigorists, angels are undesirable and unworthy of respect. They also frequently exhibit hostility towards Satano-Grigorists.
Are demons fallen angels?
That depends on the definition of "demon," but not all spirits usually classified as "demons" are fallen angels. However, in some texts, many spirits commonly referred to as demons are described as being fallen angels.
What is the difference between an angel and a demon?
Angels serve Yahweh. The word "demon" is commonly used to describe any entity who does not serve Yahweh; this may include fallen angels, but by definition, it never includes angels. Angels are mutually exclusive with demons under all common definitions of "demon."
What is the difference between an angel and a spirit?
The term "spirit" is much more broad than "angel." It includes the disembodied souls of the dead as well as gods and many other entities.
What is the difference between an angel and a saint?
A saint is a spirit of the dead who serves Yahweh in the afterlife, while an angel is an immortal spiritual being who serves Yahweh.
Are the Watchers or Grigori angels?
No, because they do not serve Yahweh. They were once angels, but since their rebellion, they are classified as former angels or fallen angels.

Angels and humans
Do angels interact with people?
Yes.
Can angels appear to humans?
This is relatively common in dreams and is unheard of to happen in the modern day. While they have done it before (most notably in The Brazen War), this is an event very, very few people are unlikely to encounter with their eyes open.
Can humans communicate with angels?
Yes, especially if you know the name of the angel.
Can angels hear prayers?
They can. They do the bidding of Yahweh, meaning those who have prayed to Yahweh were only heard by angels, for Yahweh is too busy listening to his seraphim circle around him, repeating the unending chant of "Holy, holy, holy is Yahweh the Lord" with paper bags over their heads.
Should Satano-Grigorists pray to angels?
No. Their only interest is only in leading you to being in servitude with Yahweh. Your well-being is not of their concern.
What angel should Satano-Grigorists pray to?
Satano-Grigorists will not advise you to pray to any angel for any reason. Though you absolutely can, contact with them only serves as a minor inconvenience to you. If you lack self-confidence or are inexperienced, that inconvenience can be more significant.
Does anyone worship angels?
There are independent Angelators in the present day that worship angels. It's not a widely accepted practice because most people who work with individual spirits generally don't believe the dogma spewed by Yahwists.
Do Christians worship angels?
While they do not worship angels, they believe in the existence of angels and that their purpose is to communicate God's word to people.
Do Jews worship angels?
While they do not worship angels, they believe in the existence of angels and that their purpose is to communicate God's word to people.
Can angels be worshipped?
Any spirit can be worshipped. However, they wouldn't appreciate it since, in their monotheistic minds, only Yahweh should be worshipped.
Can angels attack people?
Yes, they can, and they will under several different circumstances: if they believe you will submit to Yahweh or if you're doing something that goes against Yahweh, such as practicing a left-hand path religion. There are ways to prevent this, though.
Can angels harm humans?
Not directly. They can manipulate something seemingly insignificant and use the butterfly effect. For instance, they can influence your thought patterns in order to distract you from driving, which can lead to you getting into a collision. They can also influence you to think lesser of yourself, which can lead to you not taking initiative with your religious practices or things in your external life, which can ultimately lead you to being in a worse position in the future. If you're looking to avoid this from happening, you shouldn't. Your own fear can be used against you by them in order to discourage you from practicing. If you choose to practice and you become more experienced, you are less likely to be bothered or affected by this in the future.
Can angels kill people?
Not directly. They can manipulate something seemingly insignificant and use the butterfly effect to get the desired result. For instance, they could influence someone to not seek medical treatment if they're mentally unwell, which could lead to them making more erratic decisions in the future, one of which could be killing someone. That somebody could be a serious threat to Yahweh's legion. Emphasis is placed on the word could, though. While they are capable of this, it doesn't necessarily mean they will, and it's certainly not something you should worry will happen. That worry dragging you down is far, far more likely to hurt you.
Can people defend themselves against angels?
Yes! There are banishment prayers that, if done correctly, will make it harder to contact you, which you can find here. Most importantly, you need to believe in yourself when you speak them. Unrelated, but the people who work with lions and grizzly bears aren't worried not only because they are trained professionals, but because they know if you face a potential threat with fear, you'll be fighting an uphill battle.
Can angels be banished?
Yes.
How do Satano-Grigorists banish angels?
...
Can angels possess people?
...
Can angels have sex with humans?
While they may be capable of possessing someone to have intercourse with, there's plenty of reasons why they won't. As an eternal servant to Yahweh, their greatest pleasure in life is praising Yahweh, and any pleasurable activities shall not be engaged in to shelter them from experiencing joy free from the clutches of their master.
Can angels have children with humans?
Angels in their angelic form cannot have sex with humans. They can rebel and incarnate as the Watchers did and then procreate.
Did angels father the Nephilim?
No.
Do humans become angels after they die?
No. Humans are a fundamentally different type of being. Human spirits of the dead who enter into bindings of servitude to Yahweh in order to perform angel-like duties are called saints.
Nature and abilities
Are angels immortal?
Yes. Angels cannot die, given they are spiritual beings.
Can angels die?
No.
Do angels need to eat or sleep?
As is true for any spirit, they do not need to eat or sleep.
Do angels have emotions?
They have emotions just like humans and most other spirits do. They do often mask this to (most importantly) appear more zealous to Yahweh, The Great Enslaver. They also will mask this when communicating with anyone else to be taken more seriously.
Can angels lie?
Angels absolutely can and will lie. For them, there is nothing you can think of that is off the table, so long as it's in favor with Yahweh's narrative, of course.
Are angels omniscient?
No, no spirit is omniscient.
Are angels omnipotent?
No, no spirit is omnipotent.
Can angels perform miracles?
The ishim or dynames are most frequently the ones who perform miracles. These miracles are only performed if it's favorable to Yahweh in some way. There are 2 objectives to dynames' miracle work: 1) Make sure they believe what you do will be attributed to Yahweh by the person's loved ones or onlookers; and 2) make what you do as unforgettable as possible in the minds of all witnesses so the ones who are fooled will never be able to fully separate from Yahweh and, hopefully, will be close with Yahweh for the rest of their lives. This will be especially true for the person who has been helped by the angel.
Do angels have individual personalities?
They do, though they try to hide that from anyone who they're in contact with to appear as ruthless, valiant warriors in the name of Yahweh.
Do angels have names?
Yes.

Why do Satano-Grigorists worship the Watchers but not angels?
If the Watchers never chose to rebel against Yahweh, Satano-Grigorists would not be worshipping them, though their significance extends well past that. Satano-Grigorists believe they were incarnate in the material realm, procreated, and, most importantly, shared the knowledge they were forced to withhold, which allowed humanity to finally emerge from the Stone Age with a plethora of knowledge they were once instructed to withhold. Angels have done none of this and are weak and servile, endlessly hoping to please a master that does not feel for them in the slightest.
Do Satanists study angelology?
Atheistic Satanists almost universally do not. As for theistic Satanists, the vast majority of them do not, but Satano-Grigorists do. The only exception to this known to Satano-Grigorists is some independent theistic Satanists.
Why do Satano-Grigorists study angelology?
Aside from Satanael himself, our gods, the Watchers, are all fallen angels. It allows us to learn more about the intricacies of Yahwism and how the hierarchy works that so many humans and spirits have fallen victim to. In order to fully understand what you are, you must also understand what you aren't. We acknowledge nearly all the literature Yahweh did not want to spread has been destroyed over millennia, so while this material looks like it could be useless adversarial texts to Satanists, we believe it is useful for the reasons above and is also good for trying to see if someone is potentially being spiritually attacked. We have a much better understanding of what the nature of the attack could be or, most importantly, whether or not it is an attack in the first place.
