Usage

Use {{Ellipsis}} to display a subdued bracketed ellipsis in quoted text.

This template is intended for quotations where omitted material should be marked with [...] without drawing too much attention away from the quoted passage.

Basic usage

The Watchers descended {{Ellipsis}} and swore the oath called Beqa.

Produces:

The Watchers descended [...] and swore the oath called Beqa.

This template has no parameters.

Notes

Use this template only for ellipses in quotes that replace omitted text. For normal punctuation, use a normal ellipsis instead.
