Book of Enoch
Not to be confused with Book of the Watchers and the Acts of Enoch.
The Book of Enoch, also known as 1 Enoch, is an ancient parabiblical text that describes the rebellion and descent of the Watchers, the Great Flood, and the prophet Enoch's visions of the spiritual realm from a Yahwist perspective. It is attributed to Enoch himself, but is considered to be a pseudepigraphal text. The currently known form of 1 Enoch was likely compiled from a mixture of older written texts and oral tradition passed down possibly over centuries.[1]
