Raphael
Appearance
Not to be confused with Rephaim.
Raphael is a prominent archangel in the service of Yahweh. Along with Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel, he is one of the four most widely recognized archangels. He belongs to the order of ishim (dynames), the angels who wield naphsha and work miracles. His name means "God has healed."
Raphael appears in the Yahwist Book of Enoch and the Satano-Grigorist Book of the Watchers and the Acts of Enoch as one of the archangels who guide Enoch through his visions, answering his questions along the way.
Many of Raphael's missions in the Bible and Deuterocanon involve him posing as an ordinary human, which is one of the possible forms of his order.
